On Friday 31st July, the Year 6 girls attended FIA Girls on Track – Inspire at Wanneroo Raceway.
The girls were given a unique opportunity to get an insight into the motorsport world. The goal of these events is to inspire and encourage an interest in STEM subjects and industries amongst schoolgirls, with the aim of increasing female participation in these sectors. Motorsport activities and workshops are used as a tool to expose the girls to the various career pathways in the sport. All of the girls were given a branded t-shirt, hat and lanyard and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
